Give a Donation as a Gift
A perfect way to celebrate birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries. Offer your friends, relatives and co-workers a gift in their name to CI. Each gift membership includes a 2006 CI Calendar and a one-year subscription of CI's quarterly newsletter Frontlines.

Donations 'in honor of' or 'in memory of' family or friends are available by calling 800-406-2306 (select option 1, then choose 1 again).

Or, you can make a donation 'in honor of' someone online. At the bottom of the first page, select the checkbox that says, "I would like to make this donation in honor or memory of someone else.

Become a Monthly Contributor
One of the most cost-effective ways to support CI is through our monthly contributor program. You can authorize CI to charge a specific amount on your credit card each month. At the end of the year, we will send you a summary of your giving and a tax receipt.

Make a Gift of Stock
By transferring appreciated stock or securities to CI, you may be eligible for a tax deduction equal to full fair market value of the stock, avoiding the capital gains tax on the stock's increased value. Contact Catherine Yoon at 800-406-2306 (select option 2) for transfer information.

Include CI in Your Estate Plans
You can help make a conservation impact for future generations by naming CI in your will, or taking advantage of other creative giving opportunities. Supporting CI through a planned gift may offer you significant tax savings, and will make you a member of The Future of Life Society, a dedicated group of CI supporters who are committed to ensuring a thriving planet for tomorrow. Multiply Your Gift Through Workplace Giving
You can support CI through payroll donations in Earth Share workplace giving campaigns at numerous private companies, many state and municipal government agencies, and in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). To learn if your workplace participates, please contact your human resources office, or Earthshare to find out more about how you and your workplace can support the environment. CI's Earth Share designation number is 0931.
