We all have a stake in the future of life. Make an online donation now.

Of all issues facing humanity today, few compare to the escalating loss of biodiversity - the full spectrum of life on Earth.

CI is breaking new ground every day in the fight to preserve Earth's biodiversity.

To preserve the future of the world's most biodiversity-rich places, CI is moving more quickly, and more boldly, than ever before. We focus our energy where it is needed the most: biodiversity hotspots, high biodiversity wilderness areas, and key marine regions.

CI gets high marks for organizational efficiency

CI takes great care in the use of our funds. More than 85 percent of expenses go directly to conservation programs and only 4 percent to fundraising, earning CI an "A" efficiency rating from the American Institute of Philanthropy for the 9th consecutive year.

You can learn more about CI through Guidestar. CI has also received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent evaluator of charities.
