Partners Join in New Alliance

Wildlife conservation efforts in Namibia have received international recognition for achievements in wildlife management and community-based conservation. Under these inspiring conditions, the Brown Hyena Research Project, which is supported by the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF), has joined forces with the Namibia Wild Dog Project and the Kunene Lion Project to create the Namibian Wildlife Coalition. This new alliance aims to share resources, knowledge, and expertise, with the hope of increasing the value of large carnivores and other wildlife in non-protected areas of the Succulent Karoo Hotspot.

Visit the coalition Web site for more information.
