B.A. in International Development from the College of William and Mary

As Operations Manager for the Center for Environmental Leadership in Business, Lena McDowall develops and manages the Center's administrative functions. Her responsibilities involve creating administrative procedures for the Center's needs in finance and accounting, knowledge management, information technology, human relations, office facilities and legal issues.

McDowall has been at CI since 1997 where she began work with CI's Corporate Partnerships program. Before joining the Center, McDowall helped develop mutually beneficial relationships between CI and its corporate partners. McDowall was responsible for research, proposal development and partnership licensing.

Prior to her contributions to CI, McDowall spent one year as a Community Organizer for Adventist Community Services where she worked with small social services agencies in Seattle, Chattanooga, South Georgia and Silver Spring, MD to implement new fundraising and volunteer programs.
