As of July 2007, the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) has committed more than $90.9 million to support nearly 1,200 nongovernmental organizations, community groups, and other civil society partners working to conserve Earth's biodiversity hotspots.

Each grant is linked to a strategic direction in the CEPF strategy or ecosystem profile for that particular region as part of our approach to foster alliances, avoid duplication of effort and, ultimately, achieve outcomes that benefit nature and people alike.
