Eastern Himalayas News

Grantmaking Underway in Eastern Himalayas: Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) investment has begun in targeted areas across parts of the Indo-Burma and Himalaya hotspots. The newly approved and implemented projects focus on a range of activities, including saving Asia’s wild tigers, strengthening community participation, and creating sustainable livelihoods.

For more information about the new projects in the Eastern Himalayas Region, visit the regional page in the Project Database section of the CEPF Web site. As with all CEPF’s investments, each grant in this region helps meet a strategic direction in the CEPF strategy or ecosystem profile as part of our approach to foster alliances, and ultimately, achieve outcomes that benefit nature and people alike.
