Study by CEPF Partner Wins Award: The state government of Espírito Santo recently awarded SAVE Brasil, BirdLife International’s partner in Brazil, first place in the regional prize for environmental advancement, the “Prêmio Ecologia 2006.” The organization received the award for a study on Critically Endangered cherry-throated tanagers (Nemosia rourei) that began in August 2005 and was supported by Fundação O Boticário de Proteção à Natureza and the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF).
