Flagship Species: Rufous hornbill (Buceros hydrocorax)

The Cagayan Callao Coves National Park, found within the Peñablanca Protected Landscape and Seascape, is actually named after the Rufous hornbill and Melania’s stakeholders supported this once abundant bird as her flagship species.
