Maggie McIntosh
Manager, Conservation Investments
Based in Atlanta, Georgia

Education:
University of Virginia: B.A., English

Maggie McIntosh works to engage corporations in the programs of Conservation International's (CI) Center for Environmental Leadership in Business (CELB) as Manager of Corporate Partnerships. Maggie works out of Atlanta and supports our corporate development efforts with particular focus on our growing partners headquartered in the southeast. She assists CELB in furthering impending projects with southeast based companies, investigates new ways to engage existing partners with headquarters or operations located in the southeast, and tries to find new corporate partners in that region.

Although Maggie spends considerable time on those companies in the southeast region, she also carries a portfolio of other activities related to corporate engagement around CI's Future for Life Campaign.

Maggie began her CI life in CELB as Special Events and Information Coordinator in 2002. In 2004 she moved into a new position on the Development team to handle corporate fundraising focused on special events. As Manager, Corporate Relations for Special Events, Maggie was able to work closely with Development and CELB to help raise over $1.7 million from corporations for special events during fiscal year 2005-- helping to achieve one of the most successful years ever for events.

Before CI, Maggie held a number of event planning positions in the private sector -- from wedding planning to managing multi-million dollar events in the technology industry.
