LAURY SALIGMAN Manager, New Media & Publications Education: Georgetown University: BS, Physics Harvard University, School of Public Health: MS, Environmental Health Sciences Laury Saligman joined The Center for Environmental Leadership in Business (CELB) in January 2002. She is responsible for online communications, publications and marketing strategy. In this position, she works with the staff to inform the business and conservation communities about CELB and its initiatives. Prior to joining CELB, Laury held positions at a Fortune 500 company and two start-up ventures. At Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a multinational industrial gas and chemical company, she helped introduce innovative environmental technologies into the European and US marketplaces. She also helped to create and implement the business plans at both Community Energy, Inc., a renewable energy start-up, and at a company focused on healthy homes, which she founded. Laury has also worked as a research fellow at the Environmental Protection Agency and at the Harvard Center for Risk Analysis, and was a contributing writer of The Greening of Industry: A Risk Management Approach (Harvard University Press, 1997). Laury has lived in England, Belgium, Germany and the Czech Republic, and now resides in Washington, DC. |
